Allana Ferguson bio
Allana competed for Australia during Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries caused her to be absent for a few seasons, before she switched back to Rugby League. Allana's first match in the rugby league for women took place in the year 2015. Her performance was impressive against Queensland as well as representing New South Wales. Allana has also been a regular radio personality, appearing regularly as part of 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Outside of sport Allana is a certified educator. Allana Ferguson holds the rare honor of playing for Australia in three sports - rugby sevens as well as touch, and rugby league. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos football player who was in the rugby league for a number of years was forced to close her career early because she injured her ACL a fourth time. Ferguson had already torn ligaments in her same knee between 15 and 17 but after the fourth tear, it was game over for the 25-year-old. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and the fourth year player to be injured in the ACL, needed to retire early. Ferguson, the JILLAROOS' playmaker, announced the situation to The Courier Mail this week after suffering a niggle during training in November.
